Merced County ROP for Adults offers full-time Career Technical Training courses and short-term Computer Night Classes. Free Career Related Workshops are also available.
Career Technical Training Information
The full-time Career Technical Training courses are fee based. Most of our students are sent to us by the following referring agencies:
- Merced County Human Services Agency
- Merced County Department of Workforce Investment
- EMPOWER Program
- State Department of Rehabilitation
- Private Vocational Rehabilitation
- Merced County Housing Authority
- Employment Development Department
The full-time Career Technical Training courses offers students opportunities to develop marketable skills, abilities, attitudes and work habits so that students may get jobs, up-grade their skills and prepare for advanced vocational training, academic study and career advancement. Workplace learning experiences are offered in collaboration with the business community to provide training in the actual work environment.
