Michael Silva

Michael Silva is a junior at Buhach Colony High School. He is enrolled in the ROP Automotive Services class. Michael was chosen as the ROP Student of the Quarter by his instructors, Mr. Jenkins, Mr. Sevilla and Mr. Schroeder. Michael was chosen for several reasons. He is a very dedicated, hardworking, responsible and well organized young man. He has performed very well at his ROP site, Ron Smith Buick Dealership, getting excellent evaluations weekly. His site supervisor agrees that Michael is a very responsible, dedicated young man and is an asset to their business.

Michael believes that to be successful you must enjoy your job! He loves working on cars and plans to pursue a career in the automotive field. Michael says the ROP class has given him the opportunity to expand his knowledge about cars and has given him the hands-on experience necessary to be a successful mechanic. He would recommend this class to anyone who is interested in the automotive industry. Michael's other accomplishments include perfect attendance and maintaining a 3.5 GPA.

According to his instructors, it is students like Michael that make our ROP programs a success. Michael will make an excellent contribution to our future workforce.

CONGRATULATIONS MICHAEL!
