Fernando Mendoza
Fernando Mendoza is in Mr. Ross's ROP Virtual Enterprise class at Dos Palos High School. Fernando believes a successful person is someone who stays on tasks, enjoys what they are doing, and is able to help others. He also believes a successful person is someone who is dedicated to their career.
The goals Fernando has accomplished in his ROP Virtual Enterprise class are preparing order forms, sales receipts, and he is currently working on the class website. This website was put off for along time, so Fernando decided to take charge and finish it himself.
Fernando's future goals include attending CSU Sacramento to study Criminal Justice while also being in the Army Reserves. He hopes to become an officer in the military and eventually retire.
Fernando stated that he has learned a lot from his ROP class. It has provided him with skills that will help him in the future. Fernando commented that if he ever got a job at a business he would know what to do and how to do it.
Fernando would like to inform students who are interested in the ROP program that it isn't easy, but the skills you gain from ROP will help you in the future.
Mr. Ross chose Fernando as the ROP Student of the Quarter because he has perfect attendance and has taken over other jobs, besides his own, and has done a fantastic job of getting our website up and running. He does everything that is asked of him and more! Mr. Ross said he has been a pleasure to have in class.
