Alejandra Bustos is a senior at GVHS in Ms. Rogges ROP Business Occupations and Technology class. Alejandras training site is at Senator Jeff Denhams Office.

Alejandra feels that a successful person should work hard, follow rules and take their job seriously. This is evident in her supervisors consistent comments about how impressed she is with Alejandra. Senator Jeff Denham and his staff are so pleased to have Alejandra Bustos as an intern this year in the Merced District Office. They offer her their warmest congratulations on being selected as ROP Student of the Quarter. Alejandra has demonstrated her effectiveness and efficiency in all the tasks they have assigned to her. She is a conscientious individual with a high level of integrity in all the tasks they have assigned to her. They especially appreciate her courteous and considerate manner. Senator Jeff Denhams office is so glad that Alejandra is an intern in their office and they look forward to continue working with her.

Alejandras future goals are to enroll in Merced College taking Criminal Justice courses. She will then transfer to a university where she will complete her Bachelors degree and become a Probation Officer. Alejandra plans to start early gaining experience in her future career. She plans to become a Youth Commissioner for the Merced County Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Commission.

Alejandra says this year she has learned to use Microsoft Office 2007, alphabetical and subject filing and most importantly, how to be prepared to work in a business office. Alejandra would like to let students know that this class will introduce them to the business world.
