2nd Quarter 2007-2008 - Golden Valley High School

Ashley Noble
Ashley Noble is a senior at Golden Valley High School and is currently a student in Ms. Farmer’s ROP Veterinary Science class. Ashley has been involved in the ROP program for the past two years.
Ashley is a talented and bright young lady who loves animals. Ashley is interested in the equine industry and hopes to work horses in the future. This interest and passion will provide her with the necessary foundation she needs as she pursues her future career goals as a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT). Ashley is determined, hard working, friendly and dedicated to her work and scholastic achievement at Golden Valley.
She has been an active member of the Golden Valley FFA for the past two years, earning her Greenhand and Chapter FFA Degrees. She has participated in many FFA activities and has taken a leading role by becoming a chairman of several important activities. Ashley is not afraid to jump in, evaluate the situation, and work at accomplishing the task with great success. She takes initiative, and this is an important trait to have as she seeks a career in animal science.
When Ashley was asked how she felt about the ROP Veterinary Science class she stated, “I am glad we have an ROP Veterinary Science class now at Golden Valley.” She plans to attend Merced College and transfer to Chico State to get her BS degree in Animal Science and prepare for the California RVT Exam. Ashley hopes to gain experience by working with veterinarians at the animal hospital to further her skills by caring for animals.
Mrs. Farmer chose Ashley as Student of the Quarter for several reasons. Ashley has demonstrated her leadership abilities and serves as a positive role model and mentor for other agriculture students enrolled in the class. She is well liked and respected by her peers. Ashley always displays a positive attitude and a productive work ethic. She is always willing to participate, as well as demonstrate initiative. Her desire to work with animals and people is evident in the ROP Veterinary Science class and FFA program. The Golden Valley Agriculture staff is proud of Ashley and feels very fortunate to have her in their program.
Congratulations Ashley!
