Lizzette Esquivel
Lizzette Esquivel is a senior at Los Banos High School and is currently enrolled in Mrs. Guintini's ROP Medical Occupations class. She has a 3.9 GPA this year and strives to be a better student. Lizzette was chosen as the ROP student of the Quarter because of her continued positive attitude and desire to learn. Her goal for her future is to continue on after high school by attending Merced College to become a Registered Nurse.
During her course of study in the ROP Medical Occupations class, she has learned how to perform vital signs, HIPAA and confidentiality, professionalism, safety in the work place and universal precautions. She has also learned about blood born pathogens, basic patient care and first aid skills. Lizzette is always ready and prepared for work and has a good attendance record. She never complains and does whatever is asked of her. She has a very warm personality and a great smile. Lizzette will be going out to a medical worksite to gain experience in what really goes on in a medical environment.
Mrs. Guintini commented that she knows Lizzette will be as asset where ever she goes and is well deserving of this award.
