1st Quarter 2007-2008 - Le Grand High School

Natali Rios
Natali Rios is the ROP Careers in Education class Student of the Quarter at LeGrand High. In this class, Natali is learning about the requirements and responsibilities of being an educator. Her site placement is at LeGrand Elementary where she assists Mrs. Guerrero with 2nd graders.
Natali feels that a successful person is someone who is always on task, never misses a day of school and has a positive attitude. One goal that Natali is proud of is being able to help the students in the classroom with their grammar. Some of Natali's future goals are to go to college and graduate and eventually become a Registered Nurse. A few skills that Natalie has learned from her ROP class that will help her in the future are: to always be on time, to listen and to follow rules. Natali recommends the ROP Careers in Education class to anyone who wants to discover if their future goal is to become a teacher.
Her teacher, Ms. Plagenza, chose Natali as Student of the Quarter because she takes her responsibilities seriously. She is quick and efficient in all tasks including grading students' math work, preparing instructional materials, helping to translate for parent conferences, and working with groups of children. Natali has an excellent attendance record and a strong work ethic. Her attitude and cooperation help to make her a positive asset to the children and teacher at LeGrand Elementary. She displays leadership skills and was elected Vice-President of Club Ed, Teachers for Tomorrow by her Careers in Education classmates. She is an excellent role model to all students.Congratulations Natali!
