2nd Quarter 2007-2008 - Le Grand High School
Alyssa Kibbie
Alyssa Kibbie was chosen as ROP Student of the Quarter in Ms. Bianchi's ROP Horticulture class.
As a child Alyssa was a member of 4H for five years and she has been a member of FFA for four years. In the past, she has shown swine, sheep, rabbits, beef cattle, and dairy cattle. Her love for plants and animals is apparent. Alyssa comes from a family of agriculturalists and horticulturalists and she plans to study biology at a UC when she graduates.
To her benefit, all of her plants have grown and they are all neatly planted as per the requirements of a good nursery manager. Currently, she has taken on the job as greenhouse and nursery manager for the ROP Horticulture class.
Ms. Bianchi took great pleasure choosing Alyssa Kibbie as the ROP Student of the Quarter. She states that Alyssa has gone above and beyond most of her students. She has always offered a helping hand in the greenhouse and in the classroom.
