Naomi Cardenas
Naomi Cardenas is the ROP Business Occupations and Technology Student of the Quarter from Livingston High School. In this class, Naomi is learning about the requirements and responsibilities of working in a business office. Her site placement is in the Marketing Department of Foster Farms where she assists Mrs. Donna Machado.
Naomi knows that a successful person is someone who must first set goals for themselves. She feels that she shows her commitment to success by always being determined and willing to learn new things. A goal that Naomi has set for herself upon graduation is to complete college majoring in Criminal Justice. Naomi recommends the ROP Business Occupations and Technology class to anyone who wants to gain experience in an office.
Naomi’s supervisor praises her wonderful organizational skills and says Naomi has been a great help in organizing her files and office space. Mrs. Machado does not worry about giving Naomi large time consuming tasks because Naomi is persistent, completes her duties quickly and pays close attention to details.
Naomi’s teacher, Ms. Montes, chose Naomi for recognition because she takes her responsibilities seriously. She is quick and efficient in all class assignments and helps out other students when needed. Naomi has an excellent attitude and a strong work ethic. Her sense of humor and willingness to help out make her a positive part of the weekly class sessions at the Wolfe Center.
