Guadalupe Ramirez
Guadalupe Ramirez is senior at Merced High and is second year student in Ms. Escobedo's ROP Marketing Occupations class. Ms. Escobedo is so happy to announce her as the recipient for the ROP Student of the Quarter.
Guadalupe believes that if a person has a lot of determination and a goal setting personality they will be a successful person. Guadalupe has maintained good grades and has become more active on her high school campus, which are a couple of goals that she set for herself. She currently holds an officer position in a local student organization called DECA. After graduation in May 2009, she plans to attend Make-Up Designer (M.U.D.) in Burbank and then attend Paul Mitchell in Costa Mesa, Orange County. With the training and knowledge from both of these schools, she then plans on opening her own make-up business.
Communication is the number one skill that Guadalupe feels she has gained experience in because of her ROP Marketing class. For future ROP students, Guadalupe would highly recommend the class because it is interesting, helpful, and will be beneficial for the future.
Guadalupe has made Ms. Escobedo so proud. Ms. Escobedo has seen how much Guadalupe has grown from last year and she has proven that when a person puts determination into something, they can achieve it. She also has taken on the role as an officer in DECA. She has great leadership skills and is a role model to her peers.
